Brian O’Connor is a Principal at ROCK Architecture & Engineering P.C. with over 20 years of experience in structural engineering and building restoration across New York City. Formerly the Principal of Bond Engineering P.C., Brian has led numerous projects focused on parking garages, vaults, sidewalks, and façade systems. His expertise spans Local Law 11 (FISP) compliance, Local Law 126 garage and parapet inspections, and structural rehabilitation of complex building types.

Known for his practical, solutions-driven approach, Brian guides projects from initial investigation through design, permitting, and construction oversight. He is committed to delivering cost effective, durable, and code-compliant results that safeguard both public safety and client investment. At ROCK, Brian continues to provide trusted leadership and technical excellence, ensuring the long-term performance of New York City’s buildings.

Craig Jirak is a New York State Registered Architect and Principal at ROCK Architecture and Engineering, PC. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana Tech University and has dedicated his entire career to the practice of architecture in New York City.

Over the years, Mr. Jirak has worked with several renowned architectural firms, including Michael Graves Architecture & Design, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, and Howard L. Zimmerman Architects. His professional focus has largely centered on exterior restoration and building envelope consulting, with deep expertise in forensic investigations, historic preservation, roofing, waterproofing, garage restoration, and leak detection.

With over 25 years of experience in New York City’s façade restoration and building-envelope industry, Marco specializes in high-rise exterior systems ranging from historic masonry to modern curtain wall assemblies. His expertise includes compliance with Local Law 11 (FISP), Local Law 126, and Landmarks Preservation Commission requirements.

Marco has led numerous façade investigations, building condition assessments, and restoration projects, consistently balancing technical rigor with cost-effective, practical solutions. Known for his hands-on leadership style, he oversees projects from initial inspection through design development, regulatory approvals, and construction administration. His collaborative approach prioritizes safety, durability, and code compliance while respecting and preserving the architectural character of New York City.

At ROCK, Marco continues to deliver trusted, client-focused solutions that safeguard client interests while ensuring full compliance with New York City Department of Buildings rules and regulations intended to protect building occupants and the public. As a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI), Marco has prepared and filed status reports for more than 120 buildings under FISP Cycles 9 and 10 in full compliance with 1 RCNY §103-04, Periodic Inspection of Exterior Walls and Appurtenances of Buildings.
